Weirdest cold ever so far. Monday night, sleepy, chilled. Tuesday morning, hacking up crap, headache--sinus pressure. Tuesday day, chilled, cold moving into throat, coughing, nose running. Tuesday evening, feeling better

Re: Big 12 -- a lot depends upon the lawsuits stemming from Maryland trying to leave the ACC.

The conference raised the exit fee to $50m this Sept. and Maryland is hoping to avoid paying that amount. The other school besides MD that objected to the fee was Florida State.

Which, rumor has it, wants to de-affiliate and switch to the Big XII.

But I would guess FSU won't leave if they see Maryland get stuck with the full $50m. Clemson and GaTech might look to split too.
