I had such plans. Saturday was to be 'sit on the couch, watch basketball, read fanfic, finally get the Christmas shit gone from the living room, bake slutty brownies' day. Instead, I got a call from my mom around 9:00. Dad's in Napa Valley with the brother, and she's had a bad cold for over a week. On Friday night she had a bad sinus headache
