Now that Sakura Matsuri is over, I guess it’s time to plan for other events. Anyone going to the Japan Society cosplay party on the 15th? I already got a ticket and I’m planning to wear my Count D artbook kimono

I do love that dress of Valentine's, but wouldn't even know how to approach the print. That seems to be your specialty! Costume Con 2011 has a broadway theme? Oh no...too many possibilities!

Yep, Costume Con 2011 has a Broadway theme! I'm undecided what I want to make since although there are a lot of musicals I love, I can't think of many things where I love a character, love one of their costumes, and would fit them in terms of looks. :-/ Then, there are some shows that I like mainly because of the cast recordings and have never seen onstage so I don't know all the costumes. And other shows which don't have especially distinctive or memorable costumes.
