I found out last night that my seam finishes workshop was accepted for Anime Boston. The notification said time and location are subject to change but I’m tentatively scheduled for 12:30PM-2:00PM Saturday in Workshop 311

Panels are so fun! Congrats on getting one for Boston. Don't get too nervous. People are always awesome to talk to and they always listen. ^_^ Good luck! ^___^

Best of luck in your panel! Are you planning to ask the attendees to do the stitches by hand? Cus I can't imagine having that many sewing machines for them to use o_O

Nope, I'm actually doing all the sewing in advance and it's more of a lecture since there's no way I can get a sewing machine to Boston. ^_^; I'm going to make fabric samples showing each step for the different finishes and put them in a kit with a booklet of directions and notes. And I'll bring bottles of glue so people can paste the corresponding samples into their booklets while I go over each seam finish. So, everyone gets a detailed set of notes for the different techniques and can try them out after they go home.
