Today is the last day of the Jewish festival Sukkot. I have asked David a teaching for my heart. David represents the establishment of heaven and earth (Malkut on the Tree of life). King David was a passionate man who possessed intense feelings. I find it interesting that you pulled a card for Strength in which there is no moderating influence, especially given David's passions. As I remember my scripture, he got in trouble because of the way he would let his emotions overwhelm his common sense and ethics.

Your connection of the patriarchs to sephiroth has been very interesting for me. I've been studying Kabalah from the perspective of magical tradition, and anything that provides additional insight is welcome.
