Today I have pulled a card as an answer to a question about the passage in John in which Jesus said he is the living bread which he will give for the life of the world. My question was: “What is the sacrifice that gives me life?” I have received Seven of Wands from the Llewellyn Tarot.

The way I see the Seven of Wands is fighting for reasons of integrity, even when the odds are greatly against you.

That is a very powerful interpretation, more honest toward the card. Empowering too, also when this fighting is seen as sacrifice. It is very much in line with the life/story of Jesus too (that was not in the question, but it is interesting.) Since I felt so stiffled, and strangled with the five of cups, and because could not relate to this card, there is something there I think. But I do not know how exactly, yet.
