I still remember the strip where they thought Hobbes was lost in the woods and as Calvin's dad searched, he yelled out, "Hobbbbees!" before catching himself.

I have been going through all my C&H books and re-reading them. There is something so magical about this cartoon. I love that Hobbes is being passed on. I also love the subtle hint that Calvin married Susie and Susie gave their daughter Mr. Bun. So much love for this. ♥
