Ducks!

Some of you will remember my ducks that I needed naming. Well, they were all named successfully, but I became rather attached to them so they didn't actually go anywhere. This means they are still all around my house. However, I now have a few more ducks. Sooo meet the ducks! All pictures will be clickable links because I'm too lazy to crop

To be honest, none of them looked like a Patrick, and I didn't particularly want to name any after real people. Some of them were supposed to be going travelling so it would have been a bit weird to have someone find a duck with their name (or with a famous person's name, unless it was blatantly obvious who it was etc), besides, they would detract from the real people if I had ducks named the same names, and we wouldn't want that.

Haha. It took me ages to choose their names, but they kinda fit with them now.

Maverick is blatantly stolen from Top Gun. I resisted calling one Goose because then the poor duck would be confused. Icepick is a variant from Iceman (again initially from Top Gun) but as I was hoping to get one into F1 circles I didn't think it wise to call one Iceman! The others names came as a mix from other places and from various other people's suggestions. I am very fond of them all now though :D

Ursula is so named because the curly black bits made me think of Ursula from the Little Mermaid :)

Oh, I love Maverick and Apple!! (I should take a look at local stores for some lovely duckies. I never had one as a kid and I think it has a negative impact on me!)

Maverick is one of my favourites. Apple is great and likes to stow away when I go away. I never really had them as a kid, but I love them anyway. Got most of these from the internet. There are some really pretty ones you can get, but some of them are very expensive. You can also get plain yellow ducks and draw on them yourself to make them different.

Well seeing as I was going to be sending these ones off around the world, I didn't think it was wise to actually name them after other people. Besides, if I had CK duck or Bob duck then they might detract from the real versions :P
