I don't approve of the habit of disapproving of people for Doing Christmas Wrong. I have my own opinions of when is The Right Time for my own Christmas decorations to go up. That does seem awfully early for Christmas meals!!

I hope it's not too early to use a Christmas icon, 'cos I used one or two of them last month too. But only on Christmas-related posts, honest! :D :D

Heh! And perhaps all the people in the hotels, comfortable & warm & eating turkey, were looking out on people Morris dancing on the seafront in the November gales with their skirts up around their heads and their bloomers on display, and thinking, "I mean, really? Really?"

*laughs* Good point. And since they were doubtless eating stuffing and pigs in blankets, two of my absolute Best Things, then they were definitely in a better position than me. Plus, I am always delighted when Christmas sandwiches appear in shops in October, and happily eat them, so who am I to complain? :-D

I did consider the festive Christmas sandwich yesterday when we stopped at a garage to get something for our lunch. But I resisted and went for the cheese ploughman's instead.
