I can speak from experience - the thick version is addicting. It always disappears fast when I make it for Clan Gatherings. (I had to write out the recipe last night for sis Holly, since she wanted it. :-p)

I understand that completely.... I baked the pies at the office because the oven is totally not next to the thermostat like I've got here and I had to be there anyway.....
My oven/cooktop here is on the bathroom wall, only about 3 feet from the living room. Really, really, really stupid design. This kitchen was so set up by someone who doesn't cook. I would have put it on the exterior wall, not interior!
Hell, I had a WAY better kitchen layout at my old apartment - I had counter space unlike here.
The casserole I baked at my sister's place on Friday - I got there, my niece had the oven preheated & I just slid mine in w/ the rest of the ones they were baking. :-p
Speaking of which, my niece is heading up to MSP tomorrow for orientation. She got to pick her roommate out on like Facebook from a survey student housing put up and they've chatted on-line.
I'm like, "Why, oh why didn't we have something like this when I was in school?" I would have loved to have gotten a sci-fi geek roommate! :-p
