Just got the phone call, the doctor said that Karen is slipping away. My board test is tomorrow, and then I am heading down to Florida to help my brother inlaw and nephew on Wednesday.

The last few hours of life is always hard for the family. My heart goes out to my brother inlaw and nephew.

Well, my sister inlaw is getting weaker. Today she went into Respiratory distress twice. She finially was intubated, and is now on a ventilatory. She gained more points for the lung transplant list, but now the doctor is saying she has about a week left ( Read more... )

Well, just got a call from my brother inlaw. Karen was moved from her private room, back to the ICU. She has developed Pancreatitis, and continues to get weaker. She back off the double lung transplant list, and the family is losing hope. My nephew still has no clue on how sick his mother really is at the moment. He is only 7 years old ( Read more... )

Well, its not looking really good for my siter inlaw, Karen. She is in ICU. She is has Cystic Fibrosis, and is on the top of the list of a Double Lung Transplant, but she is so weak, that she would not survive the surgery.
