It's going to be very intersting to see how people incorporate this info into their fics.

And I loved reading this part:

I've always maintained that just because he's rude to the kids, it doesn't mean that he's rude to the adults. ~grin~

I was amused at that part too, and the "obsessive overachiever" bit reminds me of Hermione (gee... I wonder why?). They are so meant to be together! LOL

Are you kidding? The guy reeks of Capricorn. (this said by a fellow Cap.) Woo hoo! Several TPMMers are probably pretty stunned by now but all 3 of us who betted on Cap are saying with a smirky sarcastic smile (and we caps are rather sarcastic) "...and this is news??.."

I dunno, so many banked on Scorpio but to me it just seemed a tad cliche. I have to say I have better faith in JKR's abilities for assigning fairly astrologically consistent signs for her characters..

Not being familiar with most horoscopes other than the bare basics (i.e. Cancerians are emotional, Capricorns are smart, Leos are leaders, etc), I didn't know that lol, but I do remember when most people on TPMM were betting on him being a Scorpio. I must admit I am one of the crowd, but that's only because the main traits of Scorpios are their vindictiveness and their ability to hold grudges.

Perhaps Scorpio is a tad cliche and obvious for Snape, but I am sure JKR must have struggled some when it comes to assigning signs for her characters, especially multi-faceted ones like our Potions Master. ;)

I read those negative traits, and it appears that he fits every single one!

I must say, I'm *so* glad the birthday question was finally answered (even though I was one of those who had hoped he was a Scorpio).

It's me, BC, jumping unbidden into you LJ.

It should be remembered as well that Capricorn is just his sun sign, an entire chart should be worked out, really. A good friend of mine could never understand why he was nothing like his sun sign, Libra, until I did his chart. As it happened he had four planets in Scorpio, which may have explained more about him than I wanted to know ;)

Hey there, feel free to jump in any time, seeing as I frequent your journal a lot as it is. :)

Someone on the TPMM Yahoo group had posted Severus' chart in its entirety but I didn't read all of them. I've never paid too much attention to the more elaborate horoscope details because all those signs, planets in whatever houses, make my eyes cross lol.

On a personal note, I read about your life last night and wanted to weep for what you went through as a child. To have emerged from the nightmare healthy and happy takes remarkable strength and courage, and I applaud you for that.
