Thanks, hon, and welcome! Yesterday, some idiots from the Dengue Prevention Project dropped in unexpectedly and gawped at my brother when he got excited and started stimming. I was so angry and depressed that I just sat down and wrote this. It felt more like a narration than a poem to be honest, and I meant it more as a catharsis than anything of literary value. But people sure seem to have liked it! I've since tweaked it a bit, although the meter still looks wonky. Thanks for the feedback!

Wooo! Of course, I'll be out of town then, but technically closer to Canada. Spending the latter half of August with the family in MA. Hmmm. I wonder if I could take a side trip on the way home. Just a little out of the way...

No point, really. Orientation starts two days after I land and I'll be moving into college after that. So best wait for the holidays.

He's fourteen and low functioning autistic, which means he has the mentality of a toddler.
