I think you could actually spin not thinking you're good enough into a productive negative. This could cause you to be demanding of yourself and always striving to be better.
Whatever your answer is, I feel the important thing is to demonstrate that you have recognized your weakness and know how to take steps to eliminate it or reduce it, or make it work for you.
For example, my listening comprehension is not that great. So I make sure to write down tasks and communicate by email. But I am also working on improving it, by listening to audio-books and re-stating what I've heard while in conversation ("active listening" techniques).
For your example, self-criticism makes you work to be your best, but you must acknowledge you've done well enough at some point! It probably helps you critique others -- this can be positive or negative. If you can judge your work objectively against others', and find you've done well, you might be able to criticize yourself more fairly in the future.
