Also I usually don't mind the art but this issue there were a lot of poses where I was like, do legs actually bend like that?
Ditto! I did wonder if it was the contrast to Stephanie Hans's art in the previous issue making it seem worse by comparison.

♥ Smallville! I haven't been reading every issue, but every issue I do read, everything just WORKS and it makes me so happy.

It's true, Stephanie Hans is a hard act to follow. :)

It seems like such a thoughtful comic, and like it has a lot of love for all the characters.

I liked the body-sharing thing, but that's because I like consequences to things like bringing people back to life. (I also found the art jarring after the previous issue)

As for Stronger Than Monsters, I enjoyed it, but a lot of that was less to do with the main plot, than some of the side stuff, like Sif having dinner with Volstagg's kids, and the sequence in the bar, and the crows, and--I think I'm also easy to please when if comes to Sif because my brain latched onto her with a "YEs, THIS." which it hasn't done in a while. (and part of that may also be because it's been canceled, so my brain is making it seem more awesome than it is)

Ok, and I also think Immonen hits a lot of my "this is what I like in my fiction/comics" kinks.

And the Fenris wolf issue is just. It is Asgardia does comedy with kids. It is farcical and ridiculous.

Yeah, Stephanie Hans' art is hard to top.

Yeah the main plot was a little confusing but Sif is just pretty great--she's so fierce and also hilarious.

I still haven't read that issue. I am debating buying the second trade because the art is just so pretty, but it's hard to justify since I already spent money on the single issues.
