A batch of answers from the fic commentary meme! The formatting is wonky because I had to cut and paste from multiple documents and Microsoft Word is eeeeeevil. ( below the cut )
I tried to watch "Ghost Light" once so I could see Ace, but the audio/visual sync was screwed up. I always did like her in fic!
Oh, good. :)
Hahaha right? And thanks. :) I imagine my English professors would be slightly mortified that I had taken their lyric/poetry workshops and put them to this use. :P
That would be wonderful, yes! Pondsss. I looked through some early fic and there's definitely a different feel to them -- I'm getting all nostalgic. Maybe those mini episodes/prequels (?) will be getting back to basics? :)
I've always wondered if the Doctor actually does sleep- since we now know that there are in fact bedrooms on the TARDIS, so that logically means that there has to be a bedroom or room for the Doctor as well, right? He can't spend all of his time in the main console room, so maybe he does have a bed?
Haha, it actually makes sense that there'd memories of the Time War flitting in for the Doctor- even if Eleven has barely mentioned it really, it is such a big part of the Doctor's character now.
I agree, tough-love!Amy is the best, because it would be very much like her in approaching something that'd be bothering the Doctor :D
S5 was a lot more...I don't really know. It was more of a fun style, light-hearted style as opposed to the weird plotmess of S6.
Yeah, I don't know? I would think at least one of them would be his. I think astrogirl2 wrote a drabble about that once...let me see if I can find it. Aha! Here.
Yeah, even the plotmess bits of S5 worked better for me. I didn't really care that the season finale made no sense, because it was so emotionally satisfying. S6 felt like a lot of hopping around the plotholes and angst.

I could definitely tell in the second story that he was talking about the anniversary of the Time War.
Ha, what is it about Eleven that we want to beat up on him so? But you do it so . . . so lyrically! :D
