I'm a huge Cas fan, and I agree with you that Dean shouldn't just welcome Cas back with open arms. Just sayin'. :D

I hear you on the cage thing. I looked after a guinea pig for a week once and couldn't deal with it. The mess was awful. And because his cage was so messy that I had to bathe him with baby shampoo twice to get him smelling like something other than poop. XD

Well, on tumblr there are the definite Cas fans that think DEAN is the complete dick, and should apologize to Cas, and that makes me want to punch them, but there are also those on the other extreme, bashing Cas. I swear nobody is in the middle. I'm glad you don't think I'm a douche for not being on Cas' side, even though I do love his character.

Meh. Suddenly I've lost my gumption for the project. The last couple days I've been excited about it, now I just want it to be over.

Guinea pigs and rats are pretty similar. Our rats don't physically smell like poop, but their cage fucking smeeellllllllls. We clean it every couple of days and it's still repulsive. Mostly to me, but I've got a sensitive nose. Most people can tolerate it for a few days longer than me.
