Well, I used to think that too, and then I went back to read some of my old H/D favorites and I'm like LOL MY STANDARDS. SO LOW.

But I still appreciate that fandom for a multitude of other reasons =)

First things first - you are so right about the Cookleta fandom being better than others. You know I'm crazy about Klaine, right? Well all of the fic is written by, like, eleven year old girls! It's so frustrating that there isn't any good fic out there! ARGGGHHHH!!!

Seriously. Cookleta spoiled me so much. Fic just felt so much more... involved, and passionate, I guess. Other fandoms it's just like... reading pornography. Which, I used to think that was what I wanted out of a story, until I got it, and I'm like NO WHERE'S THE TENDERNESS AND PRETTY SEX AND FIERY DESIRE?

I certainly empathize with you on the Glee fandom thing. However, your stories must be like the creme brule of the Klaine community, man. I haven't read more than like, 3 Glee-verse fics that I've enjoyed. And they've all been WIP because the good writers fuck off before they finish. *cries*
