Blah blah blah my life sucks, and all that. There, that covers all the boring stuff. Lets talk about some cool things. I miss doing my Shit that Makes Me Happy posts, so here you go.

1. Archie's single cover and new song are fantastic! I'm liking Archie more and more now that I've gotten around to download his cd - it's good. Points for ya Archie.

2. And speaking of season 7 - yay for surpise!Cookie with Kris and Allison! <3

3. Yay for Chris getting an Emmy nod. He deserves it, along with Mike O'Malley. (So fucking deserved after that rant Burt delievered to Finn.)

4. PUPPIES! KITTIES! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWW

5. I'm still bitter about Ben Honeycutt getting cut in Hollywood. There was no fucking sense behind that.

6. Gaga's new song was awesome and I hope it makes her album - she's so much better when she's belting at the piano than dancing/performing. So much more effective IMO.

7. Yay for new house! I hope it turns out for the best.

1. Archie is amazing. Once you start having more of him in your life, you will be a happier person all around. I know this to be true! xD

5. BENNNN. Honestly, when I heard he was cut, that's basically when my interest in American Idol died. Not because of that specifically, but it was the nail in the coffin. He is amazingly talented and creative and those judges knew it. I feel like Simon paid everyone to pick the people that would kill the show this year. But yeah, Ben's covers are my favorite part of the week ^_^

6. Seriously, she has such a moving voice, I love it when she breaks out a ballad. Although, I did like her performance of Teeth this morning, with the over the top ending in the rain and stuff? Awesome.

Ben and Archie are fucking awesome and I really hope Ben takes off more - he's too good not to. I remember they showed him getting cut too and he did nothing wrong except for sing well. Fuck Idol, seriously. If it weren't for season 7 and Kradison and Manoop I wouldn't give too shits about it.

Gaga should totally do more rock ballads, it's when her voices sounds the best and she truly makes an impact. The "Teeth" performance was cool too because I wouldn't have expected that song to be performed on TV. (Also slightly OT: I wish she could've released "Dance in the Dark" as a single - best song off of TFM IMO.)

I just hope the house thing works out - I would give anything to be living on my own.

Actually my RL isn't sucky per se, just... stagnant. I'm at a place where I'm not content with anything, and yet don't have the means or guts to change it.

But yeah, my objects of obsession tend to cheer me up, especially that little shot of endorphins Archuleta xD

My RL is kinda sucky rn: I am sick and Son is sick and Hub is going overseas for work and I have a crapload of stuff to do at the office. But fandom tends to be my happy place too :)

ETA: And, omg, listen to me whine! I like the sound of you buying a house, bb; that's a new and life-changing event, no?
