A analysis of my ships...

Last night I was watching AFI's 100 movie quotes because I just knew that number 1 would be "Frankly my dear I don't give a damn." And since GWTW and the Wizard of Oz are two of my favorite movies (By the way "Toto, I have a feeling were not in Kansas anymore" was number 5. But ever since I was a little girl I adored Scarlet O'hara/Rhett butler. ( Read more... )

Did Rhett really push Scarlett, or did he just say that he hoped she had a miscarriage and she fell? That's what he was guilty about.

But yeah, I love both couples.

I watched it over again and you are right he didn't push her, she actually went to hit him and he stepped out of the way and she fell.

I think he was more guilty seeing the woman he loved hurt and that she had lost a baby but both of those things. The saddest part was after that when she called for him and then told Mamie "It was no use" thinking that he wouldn't want to come to her. :(. It makes me cry just thinking of it.

You are not the only one. My fav BtVS pairings are, besides Spike and Buffy, well, a lot. And most of them conflict. Then, in Veronica Mars, I like Veronica/Logan, an in Harry Potter I like Draco/Hermione. But, then again, I'm an aggressive, conflict-loving kind of person. I think my ships depend on my personality, and maybe a bit of what I've seen in real life growing up.

Oh I love Draco/Ginny that has conflict written all over it. And let's not forget my dear affection for Anya/xander conflicted. I guess my parents argue a bit so maybe that's some of where it comes from to but really I like to argue I'm kind of oppinionated so it comes naturally. LOL

lol. Oh, man. My parents divorced. Not that I could've really been surprised. I don't think I know a perfectly happy married couple. I'm never in the center of the argument, but I'm there.

Wow. I just found your site, and this post is just exactly what I think to. I ship Buffy/Spike, Rhett/Scarlett, Angel/Cordy and Joey/Pacey and I have always found the Spike/Buffy relationship to be quite similar to Rhett/Scarlett. I guess Im in love with the love/hate relationships. They are so much more sincere than madly in love couples. lol. Glad I found someone else who sees such similarities :)
