My mom, who has been dealing with leukemia since last year, went to her doctor today cuz she was having a hard time breathing and was all swollen.

They found soot on her lungs and had to stop her current medications.  Now they need to come up with a whole new type of treatment.  She has never smoked, so the soot isn't due to that.  I hate this.

Yeah. Her one sister died of it when she was forty years old after getting it, going into remission, and getting it again. Then there are a lot of the older relatives that have had it as well. :(
