"The Hunger Games" media coverage...

I just have to share the stuff that happened when we did the coverage for "The Hunger Games" mall tour.

Please bear in mind we're not used to these types of media events.  My husband mainly covers concerts, with some sporting events thrown in there.  This was a whole different deal.

I'm so jealous of you! That must've been really cool!
At this point, it doesn't look like I'll be seeing The Huger Games anytime soon, so you'll have to tell me how it was so I can be even more jealous of you! :~P
I hope it does really well so that they go on to do Catching Fire and Mockingjay as well. I really want to see who they choose as Finnick *cough Kellan Lutz cough* and Johanna Mason *cough Olivia Wilde cough*.

Olivia Wilde. That would be beyond badass. :)

IKR? I'm gonna be really pissed if they cast Finnick and Johanna wrong, 'cause it's not like they can be cut out of the script altogether - they're too important, unlike Madge and her family.

I don't know who any of the characters are anymore, lol! :) I read the first book and couldn't go any further. However, my husband is a total fangirl about the whole damn series. It's hysterical - he just loves them.

Cool experience! I always wished I could be involved with events like this.

And whenever I'm at shows where there's no barricade between the stage and the fans, there are usually a few photographers who will try to wriggle their way up in front. I'm short so I'm always in front, but I always let them through (I stop dancing around when they sometimes poke their zoom lenses right over my shoulder, haha) because I know they're just doing their job and don't stay in the same spot for long.

No barricade shows are INSANE. I always tend to worry cuz my husband is hauling around thousands of dollars of equipment through that stuff and he's all, "Oh, it's fine!"
