Thank you for reading and reviewing! It's my first "proper" Mad Men fic (I've drabbled a bit).

So thank you for the compliment.

I found this beautifully heartbreaking and I don't even watch the show.

Great work, as always.

That is high praise indeed!

But you must watch Mad Men. It's brilliant.

That's the 1st fic I ever read of MM, and I couldn't be happier it was written by you! (I didn't even know you watched the show too).

Beautiful piece and I was completely disheartened when they didn't further Rachel and Don's relationship in season 2. I thought she was such a counterpart for his character, she is a female version of him and I loved it.

One thing I have to point out, but I think Rachel's mom died in childbirth, so she couldn't have told her the things in the first paragraph.I might be wrong though and besides, that's your story and you do whatever you want! lol

Lovely work, as always, Lady M.

First off- thank you so much! Its my first proper Mad Men fic which is why I've mised details.

I'm not as airtight as the show. But when talking about the mother- I didnt exactly mean Rachel's mom per se. More the idea of a Jewish wife, one who acts a certain way and one who Rachel is expected to become.
