It was inspired by this one time in college when I woke up in the middle of the night and my friend Melanie was asleep on the floor. I asked my roommate about it the next day, and she said that Melanie had gotten to her room, only to see "Code Word" written on their whiteboard, since she and her roommate hadn't gotten around to figuring out a code word yet.
