Terminator 4: Antibacterial Day

Jun 25, 2008 11:05

I have a day off today. It shall be a Day of Cleaning the moment I extract myself from these blankets and this laptop (barcode effect increasing exponentially now ... I guess the VGA monitor was doing more to alleviate Silicon Insanity than I thought ( Read more... )

Can I safely assume I'm on all of those filters?

Interest level high; participation may vary.

Ah, you seem to have discovered a minor problem with the AQGBTA technology >_> we're still at beta stage.

Participation's not required in any of the above - it was just the easiest way I could think of to determine the filter groups. I suppose I could ask, but frankly that's a bit primitive. *sniff*

I've now put you on all filters except Australian Rules Football, as I've not got you pinned as a masochist XD

(unlike WCE supporters this year T_T)

Mmm, AFL filter <3 We can abuse each other about crows and eagles and nobody can look at us strangely for it!

Yes, we missed out on all that abuse in March and May :( Could've had one abuse each, damn it!

*eyes ladder and dies a little on the inside*

I'm certainly happy to read them all.

A cleaning day? Can't we just sweep it under the rug and then chain you to the typewriter for the rest of the day? I'm sure Becca's Ima could come up with something suitable to devour the mess under the rug.

I'd reserve judgement there. You're all just lucky my boys' 130-odd loss didn't make it in bold marquee ranting on to LJ XD XD

I wish I knew how to get things moving again, to be honest, but my little March resurgence died in April and I haven't written a thing since. I had three chapters of the Soulfire twits at one stage this year - not sure why nothing wants to move at the moment.

I'm a bit scared Ima would be literal about it, and might get elves wedged in its teeth. Though they probably are powerful crocodilian jaws.

Hmm... that is rather a whopping. I'm amused to note that Essendon is doing a little better this year. My Godfather is a long time supporter.

Perhaps we can disuade Ima from chomping on the elves. Not much meat on them, anyway.

Work can really suck the inspiration out of you.

Cleeeeeaaaaning... I should clear out my room some too. Yes, yes, which filters am I on?

Unfortunately, I'm stuck tired and wanting to read Wicked. It's been a long time since I felt like this about a book, so I'm happy with the choice I made there. ^-^

You are oooon ... *checks* all except Games and AFL. Hmm, that Games bit is weird. Wonder how I missed a fellow Oblivionite? ;)

Reading > Cleaning, clearly :P :P

Gaaaaames. (I have wings in Oblivion now. *nodnods* They're not terribly lifelike, but that's utterly beside the point. And needing the god mode to carry around all the clothes I downloaded and installed and wishing I could deinstall my dad's programs so it wouldn't randomly crash on me all the time!)

Ooo wings! My lappy couldn't even begin to handle Oblivion (even when it was working properly ;P) so I've only got it for the 360, unfortunately ... no wings ... :(

I downloaded that Shattered Isles expansion, though. I rather like it ;D

You haven't read Vanity Fair? I thought you had! I distinctly remember buying it on your recommendation *sighsigh* I then read it because Tolstoy cited it as what made him write War and Peace. VF bored me quite a bit, I must say, but I love W&P.

*eyes up the filters* Ack! The organisation melts my braaaaain!

*patpats* Whistle while you work, my dear, then all the noisy Aussie critters will come in and poop all over the place. But at least then you can pretend you cleaned up first, and blame the subsequent chaos on their furriness.

*feels forehead* I think I'm feverish.

I've read most of it, but to this day I've never finished the last fifth or so. My reading got disrupted in various moves here and there :P

I agree with you that it's fairly heavy going, and I don't know how I'd be if I hadn't seen the BBC series first, but I do enjoy it and want to reread. And I never read War & Peace - I was put off by this git in uni who used to be all poncey and pretentious about it, but if you liked it I might give it a shot.

Organisation, yes, let's see how long it lasts ;)

You're not feverish, you're just a Beccapie. *notes that Aussie critters are actually quite sage and laconic, except for the birds*
