Space is like water?
Feh, lame.
Wait up there, Dari. I think it's a trick. This space - *waves hand in air* - doesn't make you float.
You think she doesn't want us coming and taking her spaceship?
It's the only logical conclusion.
Coo. Can we do equations like for the fire again?

Sorcerer: [pale, short-haired elf of deliberately indeterminate gender with a thick black stripe across its face raises its head] The Water Above is not a place for mortals. [rattles a wristband warningly, the hanging strips of cloth that decorate its limbs shivering] Bad medicine. You would freeze, or fall out of the world and be stuck between here and the spirit realm - conscious, unmoving, eternally bored, unable to die. [lowers hand, pale blue gaze serious]

(Spaceship+space)-pressure = implosion, everyone knows that. You have to remember to take lots of air, and no, helium isn't better because it floats. Everything floats in space 'cos it's too far up for there to be any down. Spaceship + fire = roasted spaceship-dwellers.

[folds arms and raises chin, throat and jawline disguised by paint] Bad medicine.

Whoa!
Brilliant!
*staring at flappy wristband*
*staring at flappy wristband*

*clears throat* And the perils of the extraterrestrial vacuum?

Oh, right, that. I guess that could be true.
Even the one in the cupboard's pretty dangerous. My whole mouth went red when I got my lips stuck in teh sucky end.
What's 'teh'?
Sucky things are always teh. Don't you know anything? *pityingly*

They could "write the theme tune, sing the theme tune ..."

*has watched far too much Little Britain*
*recommends that series as right up your alley if you haven't seen it yet* ;D

Think I'd like this Isaille. What do you mean, you can't pilot interstellar technology by smashing a keyboard with your fist?! *has gone through computer-physics-thingy course by using the method of fist-meet-keyboard*

And you are up at an ungodly hour. I think you've paid enough. 0_o

...Maybe it was their idea of an April Fools' joke?

Heh heh, wasn't ungodly in my neck of the woods. ;) What's the GMT where you live, out of curiosity? It's +9 here (I think ... daylight savings has thrown me O_o)

I'm writing reams of stuff about Isaille at the moment, so whenever I beat something resembling order into the first chapters I'll put it up somewhere ... err, I hope.

Must stop writing crap on paper so I have to type it all up at the end ... >_>

Ooo! That could solve your horses-can't-really-run-50-miles-at-a-stretch-while-carrying-8-people problem!!

The horse is...

...A ROBOT!!!

*little behind the times*

Do you know how heart broken I am by this? Heart-utterly-broken! *sniffles* I want my Lorannon Lightyear! (Even if it is only a little lightbulb that blinks.)

*wails* It might just be an April Fool to you, but somebody always get hurt.

*faces the future of desolation*

(Although I dread to think what Binni-in-Space would be like. Maybe it's better this way *pats Lorannon*)

Tempting though it would be to stick a vacuum-sealed helmet on his head ... no. A lightbulb over his head would only be false advertising anyway ;)

*disconsolate theatrical sobbing*

Never mind ... I hear Jenna stuck some saisorhi out in a spaceship, which is surely on-par entertainment value with a paladin in a blinky hat?

That's just greedy! A spaceship as well! They've already got wings! *waaaail*

*huggles a feathery Becca*
