I think it's fairly obvious why I changed my mind around 300 words ... thanks for reading, I'm sure it was just as unpleasant to read as it was to write :/
I was actually going to add a bit more information about Espayon, Tathrinnas and those guys - past musing sorts of things - but in the end it was all too miserable and I just threw that hasty end in there.
And this is the exact reason I don't do Iron Hold shorts with Cochalyon. There's nothing light or gloom-relieving for the poor man, and I can't write those sorts of things. At least Arathalian has a relatively normal life.
*hugs* Thanks for wading through that ... I got back to Cochalyon/Seithenyn today and felt, er, much better O_O
(If you were a nut, I imagine you'd taste quite lovely. ^-~ Depending what kind of nut you were of course. Not all chestnuts are edible and such things.)
I don't blame you for feeling better after writing pre-Hold Cochalyon. I thought for me the saddest bit was when he mentioned Arathalian. *cuddles Cochalyon* When am I going to get my snippet anyway? ^-~
(And if it helps any, I felt much happier writing little Von than I've felt writing any other Von. He's so cute as a kiddie.)
Hazelnut ... walnut ... mmm. *pores mournfully through cupboard*
For Cochalyon alone I'm sure Arathalian's never going to forgive the Holders. *has been trying not to wonder about story endings lately* ;P
And Cochalyon and Seithenyn have been very naughty boys as I try to write, though they were better-behaved today ... I've got to get it done before I leave!
(He is adorable as a small muffin, yes ... and they're so much cuter when they don't like eating people XD XD)

Poor lad. Just makes you want to bundle him up for a cuddle and end his pain and sorrow both at the same time, doesn't it?
(And that's all the sense I'm worth today, I think.)

You seem to have been bitten by the same Dark Bug that has nibbled on Pantha and me of late. ^_^
Very scary!
