Eee, I love that song! I've always loved it! I don't know why, but it just makes me squeal. It's not as though I like New Year's Eve all that much. XD

*chuckles* I'm sure Tchaikovsky would love his great overture to be remembered for New Year's Eve ;) I'm sure Napolean wouldn't mind though. It most amuses me because Classic FM always plays it on Bastille Day, and gets loads of complaints from French listeners *muhahaha*

Er... anyway. Hurrah! Someone else who hates Sara Douglass! I remember when I read Battleaxe, thinking Axis was a pretty great character, who she then proceeded to undermine, distort and RUIN! throughout the rest of the series. I despised him by the end. Yup, I was feeling masochistic and actually read the Wander's Redemption series too, where he's utterly hideous and I hate every single character. But I'm stubborn, so I had to see it through. Waste of time. Complete. I'll put up with a lot of bad writing if I like characters, so why I read that I don't know. Moment of madness I guess ( ... )

*cackles* It still gets off lighter than Beethoven's 5th, which someone here decided makes a great insurance jingle.

And you can't tell me that's not deliberate French-baiting. Shame on your classic station XD

'Hate' is hardly even the word. I, too, persevered through Battleaxe, but halfway through whatever the second pile of crap was I regained my faculties and dropped it. I can still clearly remember dropping the book in disgust, actually, which has only happened to me three times before - usually it's just boredom. ;P

Interesting. I find myself less than fond of things once I've finished them. I enjoy the creation, but afterwards it just never seems to read as I wanted it to.

That sounds scarily familiar, actually. I have lots of fun while I'm writing, and obviously I don't write things which I don't think will work at the time, but after it's done I see all the holes and get mad at all the stupid bits, and think about what I wanted it to be when I started ( ... )

You're a closet loony. I've read the dragon story. You'll come out one day.

This closet must be bigger than I realised, I could have sworn I was already out...
