My sisters pretty much hated Ward from the beginning, and not having any strong feelings toward him one way or the other, I wound up disliking him through osmosis. When I pull away from that, I find him ... extremely dull. He doesn't seem to have any sort of passions or interests or convictions: even his membership in HYDRA is due to his loyalty to Garret, rather than for ideological reasons. In principle, I'd like to see him redeemed, but I agree it will be difficult to pull off considering all the people he's murdered, particularly Hand and Koenig (though the new Koenig at the end of season one makes me wonder if he's some sort of human worker ant); I'm a bit concerned they'll sweep those deaths under a rug, which would be maddening. But mostly, I just find him so boring that I'd like to see him demoted to an occasional guest star
