I'm trying to think of a more profound response than 'I agree with pretty much everything you've said,' but it's hard when you've covered the points I would've made. Octopussy is probably the most feminist of the Bond films, considering that the leading lady is a highly accomplished businesswoman and the only one with the resources to launch a full scale rescue of Bond. Sure, Octopussy's employees wear uniforms more hideous than the space station ones in Moonraker, but their raid on the Monsoon Palace is rather entertaining. And though Adams may not be the most skilled actress, I thought the chemistry she had with Moore was more than believable and more convincing than some of his pairings with younger Bond girls. Her character is mature enough to be Bond's equal on an emotional level as well as an intellectual one, which makes her stand out from Anya Amasova and even Melina Havelock to a certain extent

Thanks, Lady Lavinia. It's been quite a while since I last saw Die Another Day, I'd guess at least two years ago. It's such a shame that Brosnan left the series on such a mediocre note.
