Have you ever been there?
Like most of the 'historical' places I've been to, beneath the tourist trappings, there is a feeling to the place.

I have passed through Harper's Ferry several times by train. Whenever I take the train between Chicago and Washington DC on the Capitol Limited, it usually stops at the town. In fact, the train usually stops at the depot where that baggage handler was killed. And yes, there is a feel to the place.
