This is the first I've see of Genevieve Bujold's acting, but I have to say she was miscast for the role of Janeway. She doesn't have the look, inner strength, or presence of a starship Captain, but she could for tghe role of an Admiral. I'm glad they went for Kate Mulgrew instead. She had projected starship Captain easily.

ok I almost can't even watch this. It's too weird. lol. Mulgrew was a much better choice.

For an experienced actress, GB seems oddly wooden and uncomfortable in this role. Even if I wasn't already a big Kate Mulgrew fan from back in her "Ryan's Hope" days, I would still have been pleased by the recast.

Interesting look at what might have been. She seems a little too wooden for this role. Like she is going through the motions.

I'd heard it was Bujold who decided she wanted out.
