I agree with every single thing you said. Great review! One visual that I found to be extremely eerie was after the movie screen burned down the smoke from the fire stood in as a screen and the image of Melanie Laurent laughing was so effective. It was just disturbing.

Lovely review of what has turned out to be one of my favorite Tarantino movies as well (although with the exception of perhaps Four Rooms I've liked them all to varying degrees.) I thought Pitt was hilarious and Waltz was simply superb, what a fantastic find! I agree that the women did a great job as well, Kruger in particular managed to impress me a lot as I've never thought much of her as an actress ( ... )

It's ironic that you would say this, considering that the two plots to assasinate Hitler and the other high Nazi officials were instigated by the two main female characters - Shosanna Dreyfus and Bridget von Hammersmark.
