"Let me go on record in stating that this whole ”We Are the World” moment left me rolling my eyes in disgust."
Ditto!

And ditto for everything else!A great review here!

Except for the “Unbreakable Vow” scene! I didn't like it! It could have been absolutely perfect if they kept it closer to the book and Narcissa was not Narcissa, sorry!

Another thing i didn't like at all, was the soundtrack! Once more ...meh!

I have to say that my personal review for this movie was...meh!

with the exception of Harry, and whoever that is to his right, they (Maggie, Ian, and Alan) all resemble corpses
Must be lack of Vit. D eh?
:P

Maggie Smith is suffering from breast cancer and she is at least 73 or 74 years old. In fact, after she finished filming, she had to go through treatments for her cancer.

I was speaking tongue in cheek, about all three of the characters, not in reality,
but I am sorry to hear about the cancer...
I have always liked her work.

You put into words everything I was too lazy to. ; ) I don't get how everyone loved the wand tribute scene either! I had to literally turn my head away from the screen, it was so awful to watch. What annoyed me the most was the way the movie seemed to place the romance as the most important part of the story while the Half-Blood Prince and the Horcruxes were minor plotlines!

I disagree on two points, though. I really like Evanna Lynch as Luna, and I hated the Unbreakable Vow scene. Narcissa just was terrible.

I agree with most of what you said about individual parts of the movie. There were scenes that were superb, but there were also many things that could have been much better ( ... )
