I absolutely adore this movie, and in fact re-watched it last night. The entire cast was fabulous, and I especially loved Emma and Harriet Walter. Thanks for writing such an informative review!

This is the sole acceptable version to me of S&S. Excellent performances by all. Great period accuracy. I adore it from the beginning frame to the end.

Oh I love this movie too!
Emma was too old to play Elinor, and that does bother me quite a bit, but she did a very good job after all.
I adore Kate Winslet's Marianne, it was perfection and I like Hugh Grant's portration of Edward too.
BTW his name is John Willoughby not Edward.
