I read the book before I watched the movie, which really helped a lot, unlike some book to movie adaptions.

Lola married Marshall, knowing he was the rapist. If you recall when Briony is talking to her about who did it, Lola never says that it's Robbie. She doesn't deny it either, but I would take it more to be that it's negative, it's not Robbie, and she knew that.
There's never a reason given for why Lola marries Marshall, but I think that's because, by that point, they don't really matter anymore. Yes, it started with them, but the story isn't about them. It's about Robbie, Cecilia, and Briony. About how it affected them, and the fact that Lola and Marshall are married is the thing that makes you pull your hair out and scream in frustration.

Read the book. Not only is it an amazing piece of writing, but it will clear things up as well.

Does the novel ever give a reason why Lola married Marshall, considering that she knew he was the one who raped her?

Not in so many words, but from what I got for myself was it was because she was awed by his money, scared of what he could do, and felt it was partly her fault.

So no, it doesn't straight up say, "And Lola married Marshall because....", and like I said, it's because the book's not about them.

It's more something you have to figure out for yourself as to why, and the above is why I think she did.
