Well, now i've been up here for 7 days and counting. i still basically hate it up here, but talking to my mom and brandon and my friends from home has helped put it into perspective a little bit. yes, it blows. no, it's nothing at all like i was told a small, midwest liberal arts college is. but the one major lesson i've taken out of this hellish

it looks like you're feeling a little better about the sitch, and i'm glad. i really think things are going to get better once you meet more people. there have to be a few normal people there. look at it this way: if there are normal people at hillsdale, there are normal people EVERYWHERE! you just gotta keep looking.

feel free to give me a call anytime. we're so close, and i'd be happy to use some form of shady public transportation to meet you for lunch or something somewhere between us whenever you need to escape for a few hours. we can watch townies walk by and comment on which ones look the most like senora!
