Shawl urge

This evening I was suddenly struck by an intense urge to knit the Flower Basket Shawl. I don't have time to do it now. I've already got three socks on the go as well as my mom's Christmas present. Plus I'll be working soon so who knows how much knitting time I will have. That being said, if I were to make the shawl, I'd love to use up some of my

It is the curse of the knitter to have far too many projects on the go. I've been in love with this shawl for almost a year now but I've been afraid to do it. I think that maybe I'll use the dye-your-own merino in laceweight and that way I can make it nice and big. Plus we're going to be doing some dyeing soon so I should take advantage of Heather G's fancy dyes :)
