The new Knitty is up! It's the extremities issue so there are lots and lots of sock patterns!

Here are my favourites:
Fetching: is very nice. My mom requested fingerless gloves recently and I think these would be perfect. I'd love to make a pair for myself too.
Perdita: is Agnes Nitt's pseudonym! I'm not so big on knitted cuffs but these are

I really like "Swell" and may choose that to be my first hat :)
I like pretty much all the socks but like you, I might leave out the beads on Reptilian lace as I imagine they would hurt while wearing shoes.
I like Fetching and Knucks as well and with my air conditioning blasting, I want to knit them right now.

On the whole, I am very pleased with this issue of Knitty, which I feel atones for the last issue. Yay for socks! :)

I also loved Tulip Toes, but I don't know any girl babies to knit them for. RPM is way cool too, and I think Perdita is very pretty and might be a good first project to learn knitting with beads.

Like celticghirl13, I think this issue definitely makes up for the last issue. It was all very interesting, but I didn't really want to knit any of it.

I like this issue as well, lots of interesting socks. I might try rpm and fetching. I like to go to all the designer blogs

I LOVE fetching, and several others. I like this issue a lot, but I still like the last one too. Now that Knitty is so big, I am bound to find things that I like. Fetching is the only thing that makes my fingers itch for some cashermino, though.

I thought of Agnes when I saw Perdita too! it is just something that Perdita would wear.

I also inwardly laughed when the waitress asked Mike if he wanted his pork souvlaki ONNA STICK?
