“Ow, ow, ow,” Scott whines, when Lydia drags a fine-toothed comb through his tangled hair. It snags and tears some of the dark locks.
Lydia extracts it roughly and fists her hands on her hips. “Look, you screwed things up with Allison, so you have to face the consequences. It's basic math.”
Allison is - or was - Full Moon Modeling's chief makeup girl. She's sweet, pretty, kind. She's also the heir to a rival modeling agency, and her family took her breakup with Scott as the perfect excuse to entice her back into their fold, away from everyone at Full Moon. Some people are obviously still bitter ( ... )

In canon, Isaac does act self-assured around most other people, but it's more a false bravado. I mean, he steals expensive tickets from another lacrosse teammate, vandalizes school property, roughs random people up, has sexy threesome dances, etc. It's only with Scott, of late, and Derek that he's ever vulnerable. And, arguably, the other pack-members. In this drabble, there was really no room for his inner angst, but I assure you, he has it and Scott will kiss it better.
