A/N: I wrote this for bellacatbee during five acts, but hate her and bballgirl3022 a bit for being such evil enablers. :P Why did they have to get me addicted to Grimm, Nick/Monroe and Barry/Roddy? I especially like the latter pairing because there's not as much of it. That always endears me to things. XD

Roddy is the prettiest princess. It would have been a contest between he and Nick, but Nick is a knight and avidly protests to ever being called a princess, thank you very much. Not that Roddy doesn't protest; he prefers bard, but no one ever listens to him. XD

They are such fun to write and I blame you for my rabid muses almost entirely, so it's only fair that you share them. *pushes bunnies toward you* Thank you again for all the inspiration, honey. <333

This was your first for these two as well? Virgin buddies! :D I'm so glad I asked for Barry/Roddy before I realised how much I'd fall in love with them.

I adore the hurt/comfort in this. I love the tie back to canon with the Rabes as warriors, the royal court, Barry's mother warning Roddy off in place of Sarah, and that Roddy still has his violin in spite of being a stable hand. I don't care what verse he goes into, he must have some tie back to his music. This class divide is going to become a complete trope for Barry and Roddy, isn't it? And I love it.

Yeah...and my second (though unfinished, so maybe it won't count as second) is a million chapter epic. Why do I do these things to myself? XD

As soon as I saw aristocracy and class issues on Bella's 5A post, I knew I had to use my obsession with Arthurian myth for the common good. And the most fun thing about AUs is the tie back to canon, so I had fun deciding that Frank would be a petty king, the bears would be warriors, Nick a knight, etc. And no way can you have Roddy without his music; he HAS to be a bard in this universe eventually. Also, yes, the hierarchical divide is a thing. It's the best thing. ♥

I was actually worried about my characterization in this one, so I'm so, so happy it was good for you. And yeah, I actually have a bunch of longfic ideas with Barry/Roddy, but I'm easily distracted, so they'll have to happen slooooowly, lol.
