I love this prompt to an untimely death, but don't think I like how it came out. I at least hope you will, darling, and if not, I think I might expand on it later, anyway. Hm. Also, there's a small meta joke in this. Tell me if you see it, lol.

Is it truly wrong, then, to love you the most, dear Father? the archangel Lucifer inquired, an invisible force fettering Michael to the devil's beautiful monologue, when a ceramic cup suddenly hit the tabletop ahead of him, several droplets of tea raining down on his unguarded page, and Michael winced at the waitress's chirpy, “Have a great day, sir!”

AJ Winchester's name, imprinted on the header of the damaged page, now had a wet crease forming across it, already blighting Michael's otherwise pleasant morning, and he gently attempted to smooth it out, so intent in his task that, “You must really like the Wings series, huh?” nearly shocked him off his chair ( ... )

Yay, I'm so happy you like it, bb! I don't know what it is, maybe the last sentence, but I kept staring at it, wondering why it felt awkward.

I really want to spam the world with AU Michael/Adam and this is now at the top of my list. Thanks for the prompt, hon!

Is the in-joke that the the series is called 'Wings'? I just thought of 'Rings, Wings, and Interspecies Flings'. :P

Michael is adorably precious about his book and I love that Adam casually strikes up a conversation before leaving his number. So precious. <333

Actually, it's the phone number Adam gives; it's every episode he appears in, with '7' at the end, because I hope to see him in S7. XDD

I find this Michael very sweet and different from the stern one in canon, so it's fun. Beyond happy you liked it, love! ♥
