A/N: Man, I'm such a slow writer and this can probably qualify as crack. I did promise to write more for Harvey/Mike and Suits, though, so I'll take what the muses give me. >_<

When I saw the title of the fic, I thought for sure that the "one time he wasn't" would be him losing control of his bloodlust and flipping out. (Basically what IV was.) While I loved IV and everything it chose to be, I really, really love what you did with the end. It was a total turn around, and it was kinda cool to see Mike live up to his vampiric nature. (And the bit about "he really hurt you"? My heart!) It was also nice seeing Mike protect Harvey for once.
Kick ass job, bb.
(Quick note: "gentile" refers to non-Jewish people, so I'm thinking you meant gentle, lol.)

I'm really happy that you enjoyed this and I agree, the reason Mike doesn't care if he's a suave, formidable vampire is that Harvey doesn't make him feel uncomfortable with himself - or, well, he does, but in that way that's half-teasing and characteristic of Harvey.
As much as I love adorable, woobie!Mike, and Harvey's reaction to him, it was also fun to flip that switch. Thank you again! ♥

I used to have such an obsession with Anne Rice's novels - though she is, herself, kind of a witch, with her ban on fandom and how she picks on anyone who critiques her books, but I've read almost every one of The Vampire Chronicles. Not that obsessed with handsome bloodsuckers anymore, though. XD

Oh I did too. And yeah, I agree. The Vampire Chronicles were my favorite books in middle/high school. XD

It was in high school that I read them, too, and I think I stopped by the time annoying Twihards began crowding the library and asking me, "OMG, vampires! Are they like Edward?" I said yes, of course, only to terrify them with the graphic sexual content and violence. Oh, how Lestat would eat Edward and wear him as a glittery club outfit, if he could. XDD
