Creepily in character. Katherine is in some ways still such a selfish child, no matter how many years she has roamed (prowled?) the earth.

I think Katherine has always been, and will always be, inherently selfish. It was fun writing her, though, and a bit of a challenge, because her voice had to reflect the times. But I'm glad you found it in character. :)
