I did not expect much from this OVA, and I got even less than I expected. I don't understand why when they write anime-only stories for AMG it's always something awful? This particular episode was a) boring, b) simplifying characters and c) boring. If it was created to accompany the manga, why didn't they just take some existing story? There are ( Read more... )

all the pictures i've seen taken from the OAD looks EXTREMELY dull and boring, so i'm lowering my expectations. i will check it out, but my hopes are low..

oh, but i understand why they'd do an original story. i mean, in japan original stories for the anime are usually more popular, because most fans watching are already familiar with the storylines from the manga.

Basically K1 and Bell walk around smiling and holding hands, and Urd and Skuld try to stop Hild who tries to do something nasty. Not only it's not original, but also the writers didn't bother to read recent manga chapters or consult with Fujishima, because their story contradicts with fundamental principles of the goddesses/demons job which were revealed not so long ago.

As for inventing a new story instead of taking an existing one, I still don't get it. I've read all the manga chapters which were translated to English, and I'd rather see the adaptation of some early story than this.

And I hate what they did with Hild's appearance.
