It seems too shy for the Traffic Cone Trick I remember from the Exploratorium: put the fan for a shop vacuum under it and let it levitate a ball overhead. Not really very dignified: it's like those dogs that have been taught to balance a dog treat on their nose and not eat it until commanded.

Well, I think it would look pretty silly in a hat - or as a song about traffic cones put it, it could be a pretty silly hat.
