The Last Iteration: All This Has Happened Before …
Chapter 6: Swimming too Close to Scylla
“How many chances do we give a man like Gaius Baltar?” Captain Aaron Kelly asked quietly. He didn’t look up at Adama, just sat on the edge of the brig cot staring down at his hands. Hands that had set the bombs that had killed one of Baltar’s

BTW I love that your story has yoga in it and the random add at the bottom of the page is about yoga?! That's kinda funny.

Thank you for the great compliments and feedback. I've always thought that they didn't give enough of the personal, individual fallout from New Caprica, so I tried to do that especially with Laura. And as you may have noticed, while I've been following timeline fairly closely, I've mostly set my action in the spaces between the episodes.
As for the yoga bit, it was a chance to show a development of a closer relationship between Tory and Laura. At this point in my thinking, Tory is starting to feel the strangeness of the Cylon "music" signal, and I think exercise is a good way to exorcise those demons and the demons of New Caprica.
Thanks again for reviewing! Hope you like the next chapters.

I'm glad the heartbreak and the aftermath of New Caprica.
I somehow hope that Voyager will turn up before the trial is out :-(
I can't promise anything, only that they'll get there when they get there!
Love it
I'm glad you love it.
Btw...there are quite a few typos and missing words in the chapter...
Yikes! I certainly will go over it again and make sure I fix any errors. I don't work with a Beta, so sometimes I slip.
Also, I'm Canadian--educated more than a couple of decades ago LOL!!!--and my first instinct is to use the British way of spelling indoctrinated into my thick skull during my formative years, so perhaps that's part of it.
If you can let me know where I've made mistakes, I'd appreciate it. Sometimes you've been looking at something so long, you can't see the flaws.
Thanks for your feedback!

WOW! It's great to hear you're a language teacher--I've always regretted I only learned a smattering of school-girl French.
my mother has given up writing me letters. She says she's afraid I send them back with her mistakes underlined
LOLOL!!! I'm the go-to gal in my family as well for grammar, spelling and sentence structure. My sibs send me frantic emails at all hours so that I can jazz it up with my English Lit Wizard hat!
Took a short break from "The Last Iteration" and wrote a very short piece based on last week's BSG episode "Sometimes a Great Notion". Getting sick derailed it for a couple of days, but I managed to finish it on my lunch hour today. Hope you enjoy it although it is a bit depressing.
