Oh... Oh, oh, oh, poor Connor. Always got to be the adult one, the self-sacrificing one. Oh Connor. *weeps like an open sore*

Murph! You slut! Get into the bed and shag your brother.

Does Murphy come off as a slut, or just a normal guy with normal urges, who doesnt know his brother is desperately in love with him?

Just curious.

Slag. Total slag. And worse, someone who's oblivious to how much his brother cares for him, worries about him, and protects him. When he went off with that guy, and Connor left, I was chanting "Murph just went home, Murph just went home, Murph just- oh, shit." Hopefully Murph will experience a sudden epiphany, sexual or spiritual, and realise that he doesn't belong just to himself; he belongs to Connor too.

Yes, I have a speech impediment. It's called Foot-In-Mouth Syndrome. Sadly, it's terminal.

I love. So much.

And hmmm...I don't think he *does* come off as a slut. He's just exploring his sexuality, blissfully ignorant of Connor's feelings. He's a bit callous, but not intentionally - he just doesn't know.

*locks them both in a room with plenty of lube and alcohol*

Yeah, those boys seriously need to have a talk.

I'm glad you dont think Murphy is slutty. You seem to see him the way i intended, which is a good thing, though I do like knowing when someone else gets a different impression.

He's the brasher of the two, and he really thinks he's doing the best thing.

Yeah, to me, Murphy's the one that just acts without thinking. Connor's the more emotional one - he's definately the leader of the two. He'd drive himself insane thinking things to death, whereas Murphy's more like 'ok, so I'm gay - can I go fuck someone now?'

'ok, so I'm gay - can I go fuck someone now?'

Heh. His only bump in that road was making sure Connor wouldn't hate him for it. Any other consequence he's willing to deal with.

The beer was still in his blood, muddling his thinking, weakening his defenses. Every step away from Murphy was pain, an ache so deep and dull that he couldn’t say where it hurt, because everything did. He had no anger to protect him from it this time.

For Murphy, he kept repeating to himself, because nothing else would be worth this. Christ, but he hoped his brother was happy this night, and just as much, he hoped he wasn’t, so that this would never happen to them again.

You convey the feeling of pain so well here. It almost seems like I can feel it. It's so sweet that Conner was willing to go through all that just to make Murphy happy. It's too bad that he is miserable on account.

His skin felt too tight.

That was a very good line. I can't even say why.

He had to have the release. He braced one palm against the tile wall and then gave up resisting the urge. He closed his eyes and took himself in hand. The feeling of needing release and knowing there is nothing you can do but the one thing you shouldn't rings especially true ( ... )
