It's funny. I write a lot of different fics in J2 AUs. I write the same SPN story over and over (this is the only one posted). It's always Sam and Dean seperated young finding each other again. I started a hooker!Sam one and one where Sam was raised by Pastor Jim (Son of a Preacher Man). This is the only one where I found an end.

Whoa....

I'm literally floored by how amazing this last chapter is, how you pulled everything together.

I may have to come back later and do detailed feedback. I can't quite think past wow.

Wow, this is a really powerful ending. The description of what happened to Sam--gah! I just--I can see good reasons for John giving Sam up, but if he'd had any idea what would happen... It's terribly sad, but the two fo them together at the end feels like a good beginning.

I'm sure John honestly thought he was doing the best thing for his son at the time. And I don't think Sam ever knew why John gave him up either.

I'm glad it feels like an open-ended probably-happy end. I like my bitter with some sweet, and wanted the boys to be happy after I'm done with them.

Heartbreaking. Absolutely heartbreaking.

*sniffle-cries*

I adore this universe you've created and I don't want it to be over. *clings*

Aww. I'm thrilled that it touched you.

I really felt this was as far as I could write their story--I wanted to take it far enough that the reader could be reassured that the ending was happy, but after that I'd have gotten bogged down in the details of how it works out...
