Not in ch 5, but I do know where it came from and what it did to Jen's life.

Trying to keep it from feeling off-balance, with Jen having all the mystery, but Jared's just such an open book. Jared gets to have it all written from his POV though, just to even it up a little.

I like the first time

jitters and awkwardness here--the tenative learning of each other. I like that Jensen is still wary of being with Jared and that Jared picks up on that and is so gentle with him. I admit I like this protective side of Jared and wouldn't mind seeing him in action when it comes to taking care of Jensen. I can just see him looming over some self-centered ass stupid enough to give Jen grief about his scarred face, or worse, dumb enough try something more.

Glad to hear it had some heat, despite not being as explicit as some other fics out there. I really worried about that when I was writing it.

Heh. Jensen has issues. But not huge/dark issues. He's pretty comfortable with who and what he is, just having somebody in his life is shaking his world up a little bit.

Glad he feels real despite the mild AUness of it. This fic is so self-indulgent. I'm all "I WILL get Jensen in glasses. And then I have to write around it so it happens and fits." Good to know I haven't lost Jensen in getting what I want.

Yeah, it's so one of my kinks too, so I think he'll go without the contacts pretty regularly in this. For serious, man.
